Yes, I think it is. When you are baking a cake, there are all sorts of ingredients that you can put in the batter. But, the key to a very delicious cake is good ingredients. Also, I’m not the world’s best cook, but I think you must have certain core ingredients, or you ain’t got no cake!
Same for your marketing. There are a few simple ingredients to a successful marketing campaign. One know your target market. Two have a clear message (who you are). And Three, get your message to them. Pretty simple and straight forward. It’s not really rocket science. Just make sure your consistent with your message and consistently sending your message out. Outflow = Inflow. If you don’t have time or the desire to be consistent, hire someone who can do it for you.
And one final ‘cake’ note…Make sure you bake your cake in the flavor that your customer likes. Make sure the product your selling is something your target market actually wants and needs.
Funny example, my daughter had a birthday. She wanted a pink cake. Not a white cake. Not a chocolate cake. But a pink cake with purple on it. She knew exactly what she wanted. So does your target market, Serve up what they want! You’ll both be happier. 😉
