1. Track like a mad man. Often times targeted digital ads are placed but then not followed up with tracking measures. You will need to track the % of people who see the AD, % that click through, and their behaviors after landing where you have directed them. This will allow you to respond quickly to a ‘dud’ AD and compensate to create a better one that creates higher CTRs.
2. Adapt Quickly. As well, monitor what happens after visitors click through to your landing page. You will need to measure if your ‘marketing collateral’ is well written and designed to generate the call to action into a product/service sold. Check to see if they bounce off your page fast, or if they stay around and track the exact pages that show the most interest and ‘conversions’.
3. Simplicity. In this overstimulated, over sold world simplicity and the theory “less is more” seems to be the key to engaging your target audience. Keep your ads well written, keep the graphics clean and tell the end visitor what you want to see happen. Direct them and guide them to where you want them to be. And remember, showcase your product so that you are providing them choices that benefit them some how in their life. Either solutions for their problems or your service/product is providing increased value to their daily life in business or personal.
