As we market for more and more people online, I always try to remember simplicity for their internet presence. Meaning, don’t try to be someone else. Just be you. There is no genie of success in an internet bottle, we must work for it and invest in ourselves organically as well. Over time the reward will come, but is measured to full success in time (as are most great rewarding ventures).

So often I find that businesses, entrepreneurs, and the like get caught up in what is that ‘huge’ make me rich tomorrow tactic. That tactic is spending $50,000 dollars a month on massive amounts of paid targeted digital ads to gain a 2% click to your site. It does take money to make money and unfortunately for most (not all) entrepreneurs it is difficult to maneuver through the murky waters of online marketing.

So how do you do it slowly and organically. Even if you do have the money to spend on paid ads, there is still a need to create your own organic genuine presence and channels.

Here is the organic truth. Be genuine. Create a full genuine presence and invest in your online “free” channels to create a following that is reminded of your brand, value, and products and services.

Yes, organic is a bit of a painful slow process, but worth the investment in the end.
Once you have built multiple channels and properly communicated with crystal clear clarity what you have to offer, you begin the journey of creating your “owned channels” that become your “own” digital distribution network with which to share your message.

The exciting part of this is when built properly, you can actually come to the top of the world for what is real and true. Which puts you in the right context search at the right time. So make sure your dressed for the party when they search for you.

So often people will ignore how they look online. This is a huge detriment. Because each visitor to all your online channels is worth something. How they view your design, your message, and your product directly relates to whether or not they will buy from you.

And last but not least, don’t forget to be real! Just be you, be genuine and share what makes you great! That’s the simplicity of online marketing and message sharing.
